About Us
Neverland is not your average pre-school, we create a second home for your child. A home where we love, care and respect one another. We share our thoughts and encourage our little humans to embrace differences, differences that makes us unique and qualities that bind us.
We teach them about our wonderful life God intended for us to enjoy, this includes getting dirty but also about
self-care. Our children enjoy the outdoors as much as nature allows us to, we teach them valuable life skills through outdoor play.
We believe in combining various teaching techniques by using the NELDS and Grow curriculum as our guidelines. Our educational approach is integrated and child friendly, we do not force principles and evaluate every child based on their individual emotional intelligence profile.
Our children are taught how to be independent and have responsibilities in their classes, from line-leader to snack assistant, everyone plays their part and gets rewarded for their efforts.
Our school is based on our calling, and we accept our divine responsibility as guardians of God’s Kingdom.
Neverland is a place where your child is not forced to grow up but encouraged to enjoy their childhood freedom.
Our Vision
A place where the mischievous Peter Pan resides and convinces all children to join him by rescuing them from the mundane obligations of reality, this is Neverland...
Together with his Tinkerbell pixie fairy he sprinkles pixie dust over children and urges them to think of happy thoughts which then enables them to fly… off to Neverland and off to adventures!
This is our vision for our preschool, to sprinkle children with wonder and encouragement that enables them to soar and develop into independent, extraordinary human beings, beings that first and foremost respect and love one another because all good things stem from love and kindness.
We want children to only have happy thoughts about their childhood, and our aim is to create a magical learning environment that captures the playfulness of children.
The staff at Neverland have pledged allegiance to Peter Pan and the Land of Never Never, to stay young in mind, in spirit, to grow old and grouchy never!

Hygiene Policy
We have a passion for hygiene at Neverland Daycare, our Principal, Shane Nel, has a degree in Food Science, and has previous experience implementing hygiene standards in global food factories, so she understands the core value of hygiene and combined her knowledge and capabilities within our school grounds.
We pride ourselves in the extra measures that we implemented at Neverland and all parents can rest assure that only the best, effective , food safe and child friendly cleaning chemicals are used in our school.
All our staff are trained to use our SABS approved chemicals and our frequency of cleaning are available for all to see, seeing as transparency is our main goal at Neverland.
We ozone our baby class twice a day, pest control every
6 months, and even have microbiology test reports conducted twice a year to ensure that our school are as germ free as can be without the clinical feel. (We do however encourage the healthy flora to flourish in our children’s systems, they need to build immunity).
General Information
All Neverland Teachers are qualified with an ECD diploma and boast with CPR compliance and emotional intelligence training, we also belong to SEESA, which is our training company, so rest assure that your child will be in knowledgeable hands at Neverland!
We have the following policies that needs to be signed off in the first week of joining our school:
Sick Policy, General Hygiene policy, Payments Policy, Pick-up and drop Policy and General security Policy.
All these policies will be handed to once you are enrolled at Neverland.

Security
We are serious about security, and have measures in place to ensure your child's safety. We even have our very own paramedics on speed dial and CPR trained staff on site with an alarmed response system including CCTV cameras in all rooms. Our emergency action plan is also available in the office.
